Artisan Jewelry Photoshoot

Wine Collection

with Asil Designs

Now that the sun has started to return, my hibernation is ending. To start the year I wanted to do something I’ve wanted to do for a long time - partner with a local artisan and to a TFP (trade for product).

I’ve been wanting to try something really dreamy and romantic. I kept it very relaxing with just simply taking some photos of my roommate in our apartment. Nothing grand.

It’s crazy that even though we’ve been living together for a year, I haven’t had my gorgeous roommate properly model for me. She’s also a lovely photographer and captures light beautifully in her travels. You can drool over her work on Instagram: @brookelnnv3coop

My favourite piece was this long pendant (below). This statement piece is fun and speaks for itself. I love the finish on the gold and the touch of the vine in the jewelry, which is signature of Asil Designs.

Now let's talk about Asil Design for a hot second. Lisa, the artisan behind the jewelry, is so talented and a real boss. What I know her for best is her Vineyard Collection in which she incorporates actual grape vines into her pieces; a perfect tribute to the Niagara Region. It’s a perfect gift for locals or for a souvenir that’s elegant and meaningful. Check her designs out on Instagram: @asildesignsjewelry <3
