A few weeks ago my good friend Molly invited us (Jared, Charlotte and I) to meet her beautiful friend Diva at a barn near Fort Erie, Ontario. And of course, we said yes!
We all snuggles tight in a car, Charlotte with her colouring book and we made the drive.
When we arrived we went to the stables and met Diva. She’s absolutely the sweetest horse. I’m always so blown away by their size, and according to Molly she isn’t even that big compared to other kinds of horses. Which is true but but she is a bit bigger then my cats.
Charlotte was so excited to see a horse and though she very nervous at first, she found some bravery and was able to give Diva a bit of a brush (with Dad’s help).

After Diva was all prettied up and saddle up we went out to the arena. (Is that the right term Molly?)
We did ask Charlotte if she wanted to go for a ride, but after some time thinking she decided she will - when she’s 6. I don’t think she minded cheering from the sidelines this round.
And of course, I needed to get some photos of Moly and Diva together.
Definitely a bit of a challenge when there so much yummy grass around! I included some take outs but I think we got a good one in there!
I’m so wonderfully happy we were able to spend time together.
